I decided that I wanted to try to start fletching my own arrows this year. So for Christmas, I asked for a lot of fletching necessities. One of the things that I got was an "Arizona E-Z Fletch". It is a tool that is used to hold the fletchings in place while they are being glued to the shaft of the arrow. One thing that really got me excited about this product was that it can fletch all three fletchings on one arrow at the same time. Another thing that I liked about the E-Z Fletch is that it is small and compact and can easily be taken with you on a trip. Lastly, and probably the most important reason why I wanted to try this product is because it seems very easy to use. Since I am very new to this, I didn't want something that was going to be really hard figure out.

I am currently working on getting a work bench set up in my garage where I can sit and work on my stuff. Although if it doesn't warm up soon, I might have to invest in a big space heater as well. It was a high of 20 today, and I don't think I would last very long sitting out inthe garage. As soon as it warms up and I get everything else set up, I will be able to start fletching. I am pretty excited about this and will be sure to post some pics when I start to build the first batch of arrows. Here is a video of the "Arizona E-Z Fletch" in action...

Very informative as I had no idea what fletching was.
Thanks Dean. I think it's pretty cool and should be a fun little hobby too.
