Trail Cam Bloopers

Like most hunters, trail cams are one of the most important tools in my arsenal. They help take my scouting to the next level. I take my scouting very seriously and really try to study each picture to try to learn as much from it as I can. However, I have to admit, one of the most fun parts about looking through trail cam photos is stumbling across a photo like this...

This is a picture of my dad walking up on a camera to check it. He's trying so hard to see how many pictures are on it. It always makes me laugh when I'm looking through the pictures, hoping to see a big buck on the next pic and then suddenly I get a funny face. Here is another funny pic that one of my friends sent me back in 2009. I actually put this pic up on the blog a while ago, but was looking through pics and thought I would bust it out....

This is one of my good friends standing under a deer feeder and a yearling whitetail deer eating corn. I thought this was pretty funny because when he told the story, he said he was frozen for like 10-15 minutes. I'm sure it probably felt like 2 hours. It's pretty cool that the trail cam took a picture of it. I really look forward to checking cameras in hopes of seeing a giant whitetail but sometimes its just fun to see some things that you weren't expecting.

I too love the bottom pic! It's so cool when you get close to wild animals like that, at least ones that don't want to eat you. (or shoot you like that fox! lol!)

That second shot is fantastic. I love seeing the trail cam bloopers or the shots that catch the unexpected. Right, Kari?
