When we arrived at our location, the wind was blowing so hard we could hardly open our car doors. The temps were in the mid twenties, it was spitting snow and I didn't even want to know what the windchill was. We decided to tough it out anyways. By the time we got set up, birds were already starting to pour in on us. As soon as it was shooting time we start slinging steel. Within 30 minutes, we had our limits and were ready to pack up. It was an action packed hunt that went by really fast. I happen to love hunting in nasty weather, its when I seem to have the best luck. Even though we weren't out there very long, none of us got cold. All of us were wearing Sitka Waterfowl Gear and it kept us warm and dry. We could've stayed out there for hours longer. I am continually impressed with this waterfowl gear from Sitka.
